Rice and lentil burgers
Ingredients-Rice and lentil medley cooked according to package instructions, ground up oats, salt, onion powder, cilantro leaves, cumin





The rice and lentil medley I used was the 365 everyday value brand from Whole Foods. As for the oats I used regular oats and ground them in the blender till they were close to a powder. 





Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix three cups of cooked rice and lentil medley in a bowl with one cup of ground oats. Add salt, onion powder, cilantro leaves, and cumin. Blend well and scoop out 1/2 cup servings. This should yield 8 burgers. Lay each serving on cookie sheet that has been coated with olive oil. Smash down just a little so it resembles a burger but not so much that it comes apart. Cook 15 minutes and then flip. Cook another 15 minutes and serve with your favorite toppings.
